Interstate 35/80 Interchanges

Planned improvements to Interstate 35/80 access in Urbandale consist of three different components:

  1. 100th Street Interchange:
    Addition of full diamond interchange at 100th Street. The ramp opened to the public on October 2018.
  2. Iowa Highway 141 Northbound Flyover Ramp:
    Removal of existing loop ramps, construction of flyover ramp for northbound traffic on I-35/80 to Iowa Highway 141. Construction began in 2019 and is expected to be completed in 2020.
  3. Partial Interchange Access at Meredith Drive:
    A northbound exit ramp and southbound on-ramp connecting I-35/80 to Meredith Drive will be constructed. Construction began in 2019 and is expected to be completed in 2020.
